Let's just say that San Francisco has it's own twist when it comes celebrating Easter! We went to Dolores Park, where the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence had their annual Easter celebration. Music, drag show, and a "Hunky Jesus" competition.
The people watching was the best part of the show. We grabbed a spot on a nice incline in the park. Looking around we saw a lot revelers in ear bunnies and speedos, like this fella...
The Pope of Castro was there too!
Peeps were a plenty, but you had to eat them off this guy's suit (we passed on peeps):
The impromptu slide was very slide. Reminded us of sliding snow banks back in Minnesota... sans the snow, add the drag queens.
Luckily, lighting didn't strike and all was well!
